Engineering Support, Installation and Maintenance Services
Access Energy® or a regional Access Energy channel partner supports the commissioning process for the company’s Thermapower® and Hydrocurrent® Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) systems after system installation, including pipping, plumbing and wiring. The commissioning process checks the installation, prepares the unit for start-up, starts the unit and trains the site user or ship operator on how the system works.
Though there is very little maintenance required for the ORC system, Access Energy or a regional channel partner supports maintenance needs as required. The primary maintenance requirement for the unit is the periodic replacement of the air filters, which is typically completed by the user. For larger maintenance activities, Access Energy provides service for the units through our remote access system, which enables preliminary troubleshooting through a data connection. If the issue cannot be resolved remotely, service can be scheduled and completed ensuring minimal down-time.
